Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the Client:

  • Standard Cancellation: Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
    • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total service cost.
    • No-Show or Same-Day Cancellations: If a client does not show up or cancels the service on the day of the appointment, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

2. Rescheduling:

  • Clients wishing to reschedule must provide at least 24 hours’ notice. If the client reschedules within 24 hours of the original appointment, a $25 rescheduling fee may apply.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.

3. Cancellations by The Organizer Tahoe:

  • In the event that The Organizer Tahoe needs to cancel an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, or weather conditions), we will notify the client as soon as possible.
  • Rescheduling or Refund: Clients will have the option to either reschedule the service at a convenient time or receive a full refund for any pre-paid services.

4. Refunds:

  • In cases where a refund is applicable (e.g., cancellation by The Organizer Tahoe or dissatisfaction with services), the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.

  • Late Arrivals: If you are running late for your scheduled appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, the service time may be shortened, and the full fee will still apply.

Terms and Conditions

1. General Agreement:

  • By booking services with The Organizer Tahoe, clients agree to these Terms and Conditions, which govern the use of our services.
  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically, and any changes will be communicated to clients via email or on our website.

2. Service Scope:

  • The Organizer Tahoe provides home organizing, decluttering, and cleaning services.
  • Our services are designed to help organize home spaces, including kitchens, closets, living rooms, and more. Deep cleaning services are also available upon request but are subject to availability.

3. Booking and Payments:

  • Booking: Clients can book appointments through our website, by phone, or via email.
  • Payment: Payment for services is due at the time of booking or upon completion of the service. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, or other online payment platforms.
  • Estimates: Pricing for services is provided upon consultation or through our service menu. Additional charges may apply for additional services requested during the appointment (e.g., moving items or extra organizing).

4. Client Responsibilities:

  • Access: Clients must ensure that The Organizer Tahoe team has proper access to the property for the duration of the scheduled service. If the team cannot gain access to the property or the space, it may result in additional fees or a rescheduled appointment.
  • Health and Safety: Clients are required to inform The Organizer Tahoe of any health or safety concerns in the home (e.g., allergies, pets, hazards) before the service begins.
  • Damage: While every effort is made to handle all items carefully, The Organizer Tahoe is not responsible for any damage to fragile or valuable items unless caused by our negligence.

5. Confidentiality:

  • The Organizer Tahoe respects clients’ privacy and confidentiality. We will not disclose or share any personal or sensitive information obtained during the course of providing services unless required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability:

  • The Organizer Tahoe is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services, except where caused by gross negligence on our part. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, personal injury, or loss of items during the organizing or cleaning process.

7. Indemnification:

  • Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Organizer Tahoe, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or costs arising from their use of our services.

8. Termination of Services:

  • The Organizer Tahoe reserves the right to terminate services at any time for inappropriate behavior or non-compliance with policies.
  • Clients who fail to meet payment obligations or repeatedly violate cancellation policies may be prohibited from scheduling future services.

9. Force Majeure:

  • The Organizer Tahoe is not liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

10. Governing Law:

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of California and any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the jurisdiction of the state’s courts.

By booking and accepting services from The Organizer Tahoe, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the cancellation policy and the terms outlined above.
